What works for me as a mobile ninjaneer Link to heading

I’ve been an avid Linux user for quite some time. I’ve started around Debian Woody and never looked back. But recently I’m trying to be as OS agnostic as I can - trying to find best / most mobile setup for my use-case. And it’s not only for so called professional work. Also for gaming. What works for me right now is:

  • Macbook with M-series CPU (any - all have really good keyboard, reasonable OS and awesome battery life)
  • Mechanical keyboard - with linear switches. Only linear. sorry. Currently it’s TEX Shura DYI edition and Keychorn K7 PRO
  • Thumb trackball (Logitech MX Ergo)
• gaming
  • Steamdeck OLED edition with JSAUX ModCase
  • Lenovo Legion GO with Bazzite OS
  • Lenovo Legion y700 2023 with:
    • Gamesir G8 Galileo
    • Gamesir X2S
    • BSP D8
  • Razer Atheris
• other
  • Ipad mini gen 6 (cheapest one)
  • Pocketbook ERA

Sometime in near future I’ll describe my current setup that’s allowing me to work from almost any device that has SSH / webbrowser. And how ability to stream my games to different devices changed my gaming habits. But not now. Not now….
